OBLU by Atmosphere is located on Helengeli Island in North Male Atoll, an exciting 50 minute speedboat transfer from Male Airport. The island itself has a worldwide reputation for its incomparable house reef and channel diving just metres from the shore.
The all-inclusive Maldivian resort opened in November 2015 and comprises of 116 villas which are modern and vibrant, whilst still being complementary to the natural aesthetics of the island. Facilities: PADI certified dive school with over 20 top dive sites nearby, well-equipped gymnasium, Elena Spa, motorised and non-motorised water sports.
Dining: The Spice Restaurant serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with live stations, Helen's Pool Bar (Open 9am to 1am) serves drinks all day. Also an alternative dining experience is Just Grill - the resorts a la Carte menu that provides dining under the stars on the beach. Regular evening entertainment includes a band, DJ and traditional Maldivian dancers.
All Inclusive: All meals at The Spice on all days, sunset finger food service (4-6:30pm), unlimited regular spirits and beers, selections of cocktails, house-pour wine, soft drinks, bottled water, pre-packed juices, tea and coffee. Excursions and activities include one sunset fishing trip, one shopping excursion to a nearby inhabited island, stand-up paddle boards, kayaks and pedalos.
Beach Villas: Semi-detached, just a few steps from the shores of the island, with open air bathrooms and outdoor veranda and daybed. Measuring around 48m squared.
Deluxe Beach Villas: These villas have direct beach access, open air bathrooms, an outdoor veranda and daybed and measure up to 52m squared.
Lagoon Villas with Plunge Pool: Every villa of this type has a plunge pool measuring 5.2m squared, with an over-water deck, sun loungers and direct lagoon access. The villas are built half on land and half on water, as the deck opens into the lagoon. Again the villa also has an open-air bathroom.
Beach Suites with Pool: Suite has one master bedroom and one twin bedroom and the villa is exclusive and private, but there are only two of this type. The outdoor area is spacious and has a 20m squared pool to itself.
