Galley Bay Resort & Spa is an all-inclusive, adults-only resort in Antigua which is set within forty acres of tropical gardens complete with a saltwater lagoon and a bird sanctuary. Bordering three quarters of a mile of white sand beach, Galley Bay is an intimate retreat which is ideal for those wishing to relax in a stunning setting.

Inspired by the artist Gauguin’s paintings of Tahiti, Galley Bay’s accommodation has a West Indian feel combined with Tahitian architecture. The resort offers high quality accommodation in a variety of settings, with 98 suites and rooms ranging from the Gauguin Suites with private plunge pools to the spectacular ocean views offered by the Beachfront rooms.

Galley Bay has four open air, beachfront restaurants offering its guests a range of menus. Breakfast is served at the Sea Grape restaurant overlooking the beach whilst a good choice for lunch may be found in both the Barefoot Grill or at Gauguin's with its authentic Caribbean cuisine - lunch and dinner are served in private thatched gazebos. For something special, guests can opt to dine at Ismay’s a restaurant named after the longest serving member of the resort team.

The resort also features a coffee shop and rum bar which can be enjoyed as part of the all-inclusive programme, both offering new experiences to a much loved resort. The coffee shop serves cappucinos through to fresh pastries whilst the Rum Shack is set in the garden by the Lagoon, stocking 20 rums from across the Caribbean from Antigua to Trinidad.

As well as luxury spa treatments at the ‘Indulge’ spa, Galley Bay offers a range of complimentary non motorised water sports including kayaking, catamaran sailing, paddle boarding and snorkelling. Back on dry land guests can enjoy tennis, yoga, ping pong, pool, croquet and the hotel’s walking trails. The resort can also help to arrange scuba diving, golf and horse riding for an additional charge.
