Children: Children are welcome all year at Bougainvillea and there is no charge for children under the age of 15 to stay. Children under the age of four may also eat for free on the same board basis as their parents, while children aged between 4 -11 years old can enjoy a 50% reduction on a booked meal plan. The restaurants are proud to offer menus designed to keep young travellers happy. Bougainvillea offers a kid's club for children aged between 3 - 11 years old where they can enjoy arts and crafts and outdoor activities. The children’s club at Bougainvillea has a daily charge and babysitting is available on the same basis.

Location: Bougainvillea is located on the south coast of Barbados. Nearby attractions include St Lawrence Gap and Oistins Fish Fry (within walking distance), Bridgetown (15 minutes by taxi) and the Barbados Golf Club.

Activities: Complimentary activities include non motorised water sports (kayaking, body boarding, snorkelling and paddle boarding) and tennis at a neighbouring hotel. The team at Bougainvillea is also able to organise a range of motorised water sports, snorkelling trips, diving, golf, horse riding and adventure tours.

Accommodation
Bougainvillea has 100 studios and suites with views over the gardens, pool or ocean from a private balcony or patio. Each room has a kitchen or kitchenette, air-conditioning, pillow-top mattresses, coffee maker, an in-room safe, flat screen TV, ceiling fans, a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board.
Deluxe Studios: These studios feature a king size bed, a bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette and a spacious balcony or patio. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults.
Junior Suites: These suites offer the same facilities and furnishings as the Deluxe Studios however are larger with a separate seating area. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults + 1 child.
One Bedroom Deluxe Suite: Ideal for families, these suites are spacious and feature a bedroom with a king-size bed, a lounge with a sofa bed, a full kitchen and a bathroom with bath. Outside, guests can enjoy a spacious terrace or balcony. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults + 2 children.
One Bedroom Penthouse Suite: Enjoy ocean views from the spacious terrace while inside, guests have one king-size master bedroom, a separate living room with a queen-size bed, a full kitchen and a bathroom. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults + 2 children.
Two Bedroom Deluxe Suite: These suites have the same features and facilities as the Deluxe One Bedroom Suite but feature an additional bedroom. Maximum occupancy: 6 adults or 4 adults + 2 children.
Two Bedroom Beachfront Luxury Suite: These luxurious suites have two bedrooms, a living room, two bathrooms and a kitchen. The ocean views can be enjoyed from the multiple furnished balconies. Maximum occupancy: 6 adults or 4 adults + 2 children.
