Coral Reef Club in Barbados is five star standard and has been run by the same family since it was built in the 1950s. The beachfront property is now a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and is a true gem of the platinum west coast.
Set in 12 acres of exquisite tropical gardens, Coral Reef Club has 88 rooms, cottages and suites with luxurious and stylish décor. Each room has a private balcony or terrace, while the Plantation and Luxury Cottages and Suites also have private plunge pools and ocean views.

Coral Reef Club is located by an idyllic stretch of white sand in a marine reserve, allowing guests to relax on the loungers available on the beach or snorkel in peace, away from the sound of motor boats.

The hotel’s elegant restaurant offers al fresco dining at the water’s edge, with regular entertainment and theme nights. A la carte menus change on a daily basis, specialising in seafood and dishes which feature local herbs and spices. Guests who are staying on a half board basis are invited to dine at other luxury hotels on the west coast of Barbados including Coral Reef Club’s sister hotel, The Sandpiper, subject to availability.

There are two mosaic-tiled swimming pools in the hotel grounds, as well as a Spa which is housed in a colonial style building with four treatment rooms. In addition to massage, facials, wraps and scrubs, the lemongrass and ginger rub is highly recommended as it is a signature feature.

A stay at the Coral Reef Club is the epitome of top-class luxury Caribbean Holiday. The varied rooms and suites, to suit couples or families, are immaculate and beautifully fitted with high-quality furnishings. Located on relatively large grounds for a boutique hotel, and the gardens and communal areas are continuously groomed by the onsite gardener to create scenic outdoor spaces around the rooms and pools. Not to forget the Spa which is purely stunning and tranquil, I recommend it to everyone in need of some pampering in Barbados.

Out front of the restaurant is a marine reserve, brilliant for snorkelling and away from any motor boats, and the beach just slightly to the right of the restaurant has many comfortable loungers and water sports on offer. The food is flawless and even though there is just one restaurant the selection is great, and you are not far from many other dining options - why not try Sandpiper, Coral Reef Club’s Sister hotel where you know the dining will be just as divine.
