Location: The Sands is located in Christ Church on the South Coast of Barbados, approximately a 15 minute drive from the capital of Bridgetown.
Distance from the airport: Approximately a 15 minute drive from Grantley Adams International Airport.
Check in/out: Guests are invited to check in from 4pm and are asked to check out by 12 noon.
Meal Arrangements: The Sands operates on an all-inclusive basis, comprising of breakfast, lunch and dinner daily plus a range of beverages including house wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks.
Dining & entertainment: There are two restaurants and a stylish beachfront bar. The meals in the main restaurant are a mixture of buffet and table d’hôte options and feature a fusion of Caribbean and International cuisine. There is also a children’s menu and vegetarian menu available. Reservations are required for lunch and dinner. The a la carte restaurant is apened for dinner only and some items will have a supplemental charge. Live music is played in the main restaurant between 9-11pm most evenings.
Resort facilities & services: Two restaurants, two bars, guest lounge with air conditioned library, tv and computer access, unsupervised gym, swimming pool, free WiFi, spa, babysitting and laundry services at an additional charge.
Activities at the resort: Kayaking, paddle boards, body boards, and snorkelling.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, iPod docking station, complimentary safe, direct dial telephone, cable television with remote control, hair dryer and ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities, daily housekeeping service, beach towels, bath robes and a fridge.
Sands Signature Rooms: Air-conditioned rooms consist of queen bed (twin beds on request), patio or balcony, bathroom with shower. These rooms offer garden views. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults.
One-Bedroom Suites: Air-conditioned in bedroom only, consist of queen bed (twin beds on request), patio or balcony, separate living area, bathroom with shower. These suites offer garden/pool views or ocean view. Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
Two-Bedroom Duplex Suites: Air-conditioned in bedrooms only, consist of queen bed (twin beds on request), separate living area, patio or balcony, bathroom with shower. These suites offer garden/pool views or ocean view. Bedrooms are located upstairs. This room category is not suitable for families with small children. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults.
Two-Bedroom Family Suites: Air-conditioned in bedrooms only, consist of queen bed (twin beds on request), separate living area, patio or balcony, private bathroom with shower. These suites feature a separate living area and offer garden/pool views or ocean view. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults and 2 children.
Three-Bedroom Family Suites: Air-conditioned in bedrooms only, consist of queen bed (twin beds on request), separate living area, patio or balcony, private bathroom with shower. and offers garden/pool views only. These suites feature a separate living area and offer garden/pool views. Maximum occupancy: 6 adults.
Two-Bedroom Oceanfront Penthouse Suites: Air-conditioned in bedrooms only, consist of queen bed (twin beds on request), separate living area, patio or balcony, private bathroom with shower. These suites feature a separate living area with a sofa. The Oceanfront Penthouse Suites are on the highest floor and are well appointed with magnificent oceanfront views. No children under 13 years are allowed in the Penthouse Suites. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults.
