Representing the true spirit of what Tropic Breeze is all about, True Blue Bay is a small, independent and laid back property which offers an authentic experience of Grenada. The resort is set in tropical gardens leading down to a bay on the south coast, offering a lovely setting for couples or families.
As a family owned resort, guests receive a truly personal and warm service where nothing is too much trouble. All of the rooms, suites and villas have a well-equipped kitchenette, all with terraces or balconies that overlook the gardens, bay, marina or one of the swimming pools. Some rooms interconnect, while the spacious villas accommodate families in two bedrooms and also boast a private plunge pool. In January 2019, 22 new environmentally friendly rooms will be available - rainwater will be harvested and treated then piped into the rooms, while solar panels will heat the water and generate electricity. The majority of these 'Cocoa Pod' rooms will be similar in size and style to the True Blue Rooms, while the other 4 rooms will be two-level suites.
Guests staying at True Blue Bay can spend their days relaxing by the pool, unwinding at the spa, taking a yoga class by the water or shopping for local crafts and clothing at the resort's boutique. A man-made beach slopes down into a waterfront infinity pool, with plenty of sun loungers on the beach and on the wooden pool deck. This provides a safe environment for children to play in shallow water with some villas conveniently located just a few steps away, while the second swimming pool is at the heart of the resort and has a small water slide.
There is a range of activities and excursions available such as cooking classes, tango dancing, rum tasting, water sports, yoga and chocolate tours. All of the tours are aimed at offering guests an insight into Grenada’s culture, landscape and locals which is very much in support of the ethos of True Blue Bay. Guests can also enjoy water sports such as Hobie Cat sailing, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking.
A haven for snorkellers and divers, True Blue Bay Resort offers a range of dive packages and snorkelling trips for those looking to explore Grenada’s underwater world. Even children aged 8 and above can enjoy Aquanauts bubble making program.
The Dodgy Dock is True Blue Bay’s restaurant and is hotspot for guests and locals alike. Set over the water and offering panoramic 270 degree views of the bay diners can enjoy chilled cocktails with a great range of cuisine from Shrimp fried Taquitos to Grenadian Style Ceviche. This fusion of cuisine represents the owners with Magdalena being a Mexican who moved to the Caribbean and her British husband Russ who had a love for the region and its food! There are regular theme nights which include Grenadian night with steel pan music, a street food evening with live Caribbean party music and a Mexican night with Latin dancing.
Magdalena and Russ, True Blue Bay’s owners are committed to supporting the local community and helping with local schools and by practising green tourism.

True Blue Bay is a fun, family-run property with bright colours throughout, friendly staff and comfortable accommodation. With options ranging from rooms to villas, there is something for everyone. Although not on the beach, this hotel has beautiful views looking out across the bay and you can easily visit nearby Grand Anse Beach if you wish.
Wednesday nights at the Dodgy Dock are amazing and not to be missed - a true Caribbean night with a great live band and street food. Watch out for the rum punch though - possibly the strongest I've tasted!
This quirky, unique resort offers rustic Caribbean charms and is great fun for anyone looking for something a bit different. The rooms are brightly coloured, spacious and pleasantly furnished and vary in size and style. The villa accommodation, with it's lovely new 'beach' area and pool, is highly recommended. The Dodgy Dock Restaurant is a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy the stunning views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea, offering a different experience every night including a local street food night, live music and much more. Why not try a unique cocktail or sample a chocolate beer?
Perfect for groups of friends looking to holiday together, the diving facilities here are great and with a marina on site what more do you need? The yoga studio and gym onsite are also really good, with 5 yoga classes included in your stay - the view from the yoga pavilion out to sea is just fantastic!
Great value for money and highly recommended - the resort really is great fun and worth trying for the Dodgy Dock alone!
