Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie enjoys a beautiful location on the northwest coast of La Digue, within walking distance of La Passe, the island’s main town. The best connection to La Digue is via Praslin, which takes around 15 minutes by boat and guests are then met at the jetty upon arrival for a short 5 minute transfer to the hotel. The relaxed ambience of the island and the lush tropical surrounding of the hotel make a stay at Le Domaine de L’Orangerie feel like a true island escape. A stay here also provides a nice contrast to one of the larger islands, allowing visitors to get a feel for the diversity of the Seychelles.
Accommodation at Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie is comprised of a range of luxury rooms and villas nestled into the hillside. Those with a more elevated position enjoy stunning views over the Indian Ocean, whilst those lower down the hill have the benefit of being closer to the beach and the main facilities. The hotel’s architectural style allows the villas to blend into the forest behind them and inside, contemporary style is mixed with rustic touches to create a tranquil yet homely space.
Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie offers guests a choice of restaurants and bars, with both restaurants specialising in international and Creole inspired dishes. Buffet breakfasts and dinners are served at Santosha in an al fresco setting next to the ocean, whilst Le Combava offers a la carte options. During the day, guests can relax with a drink at the Infinity Pool Bar, whilst Alambic Bar offers a selection of wines and cocktails late until the evening.
One of the highlights of Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie is undoubtedly its picturesque white sandy beach, with an offshore coral reef offering excellent snorkelling. An infinity pool overlooks the bay and the expansive sundeck provides the perfect place to watch the sun set over the ocean. Tranquillity and escapism are at the heart of a stay at Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie, and other facilities include a small spa with its own range of products and bicycle hire so that guests can explore the local area.

Le Domaine de L'Orangerie is the perfect choice for those looking for comfort and style on the charming island of La Digue. The rooms are beautiful, featuring plenty of modern touches that contrast nicely with the natural beauty of the hotel. This would be great option for someone looking for a longer stay in a tranquil and secluded spot, and would also work well as part of an island hopping itinerary.

Transfers: Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie is situated in the north of the island of La Digue, reached by boat from Mahé or Praslin. The journey time from Mahé is around an hour and 10 minutes, whilst from Praslin it is just 15 minutes. Alternatively, guests can fly direct from Mahé by helicopter (20 minutes).
Facilities: Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie is home to the Eden Rock Wellness Centre & Spa, which features singe and double massage rooms, a hammam, jacuzzi and a hair and beauty salon.
Dining: The resort’s main restaurant Santosha offers a casual dining experience where guests can enjoy the live cooking stations and tastes of traditional Creole cuisine. Located on a roof terrace, the resorts second restaurant, Combava, offers a la carte dining using the freshest local ingredients. The resorts main bar, Alambic, and the infinity pool bar are both open from 9am - 10.30pm daily.
Accommodation: Accommodation at le Domaine consists of just 63 villas located just steps away from the famous Anse Severe beach. Facilities include WiFi, safe, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, hair dryer and shaver socket, adaptors, beach towels and a daily turndown service.
