OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi is a laid back, all inclusive resort easily reach from Male by speedboat. This four star resort is ideally suited to families or couples looking for a contemporary yet chic place to unwind. The Fushi all inclusive plan offers excellent value, and guests can also enjoy a selection of shops and cafes along La Promenade, bringing a unique ambiance to the island.
Rooms and villas at OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi are modern and homely and with a combination of hotel style rooms, beach villas and water villas, there are options to suite different budgets. Families with young children are well catered for with the Ocean View Familiy 2 Bedroom accommodation, which feature a master bedroom connected to a colourfully decorated children's room.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at Element X, the resort's expansive main restaurant. Guests are treated to a wide selection of buffets, serving everything from Western cuisine to Far East and Central Asian specialities, along with colourful salad and desert bars. X360 is the resort's main bar, where guests can enjoy a laid back ambience complete with daily entertainment. The Copper Pot Food Truck meanwhile offers a speciality fine dining option, and though this is not included in the all inclusive plan, it is the perfect spot for a special meal beneath the stars.
Activities at OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi include stand up paddle boarding and kayaking, with 15 minutes complimentary use per person per day. Guests also have unlimited access to the fully equipped overwater fitness centre, as well as seasonal group activities such as yoga and Pilates. The resort also boasts one of the largest kids clubs in the Maldives, with a top level for teens and older children and a lower level for the younger ones. There is also a food corner for kids, so that younger guests can enjoy meals and snacks whilst at the club.

OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi is rather unique when compared to other resorts we feature in the Maldives. At the heart of the resort is La Promenade, where guests can experience a vibrant retail and cafe scene, including a coffee and pastry shop and wine shop. That is certainly not something you see every day at a Maldivian resort! The choice of room types available and excellent children's facilities makes this an excellent option for families, and their all inclusive plan is also very good value for money.

Children: Children are welcome at OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi. The resort offers one of the largest kids clubs in the Maldives with a pool, PlayStation and Xbox for older kids upstairs and a lower deck for younger children. Cots are also available on request.
Location: OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi is in the North Malé Atoll, just a 15-minute speedboat ride from Malé International Airport.
Facilities: Facilities at OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi include Only BLU, the largest underwater restaurant in the Maldives, ELE|NA Spa Complex, PADI dive school, Water Sports Centre, The Dome entertainment centre, kids club and La Promenade boutiques.
Spa: Designed exclusively for couples and adults, the ELE|NA Spa complex features four secluded double treatments rooms with couples’ baths, each cocooned in the lush tropical gardens.
Dining: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at Element X which offers flavoursome feasts from modern West and Central Asia and Far East, with live cooking stations and salad/dessert bars, open between 7.00 – 22.00 daily. Copper Pot Food Truck offers a beachside food truck experience, serving surf and turf grills between 19.00 – 22.30. Only BLU Under Ocean Restaurant sits 6.8 metres below sea level and serves both lunch and dinner daily. X360, the resort pool bar, is open 10.00 – 00.10 daily.
Accommodation: Room amenities include bottled water, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, robe and slippers, hair dryer, wardrobe and cloth hangers, cable TV, single vanity, in-villa safe, WiFi, air conditioning and bedside charging stations.
Ocean View Room: These one-bedroom rooms are smartly designed to maximise space and comfort. White walls, wooden textures, and colourful cushions create a cheerful vibe. A window seat and veranda offer a comfy seating space, where you can enjoy the outdoors as well. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults + 1 child or 3 adults (30 sqm²)
Ocean View Family 2 Bedroom: These two-bedroom and two-bathroom rooms are in the heart of the island. Modern amenities, smart storage, comfy furniture, and contemporary décor add to the appeal of these duplex style rooms. A chic master bedroom is linked to a children’s bedroom to suit family life. The storybook children’s room has a bunk bed and playfully decorated ambience to delight the kids and make them feel at home. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults + 2 children or 3 adults + 1 child (60 sqm²)
Beach Villa: The Beach Villas are just a few steps from the white, sandy beach. Dip into the lagoon anytime or soak up the sun in your private outdoor veranda and garden. The interiors are just as inviting with warm, wooden floors, a plush bed, a roomy sofa, elegant motifs, and vibrant textiles. A walk-in wardrobe leads to a spa-like bathroom with marble vanity and an outdoor shower surrounded by a garden. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults + 1 child or 3 adults (47 sqm²)
Water Villa: These overwater villas are shaped like a traditional Maldivian boat creating a feeling of an intimate, romantic hideaway.
