Furaveri Maldives is set on a private island surrounded by natural beauty and the crystal clear waters of Raa Atoll. The island is reached by a 45 minute scenic seaplane transfer from Male and offers guests a luxurious yet laid back retreat. Three foundations make up Furaveri's ethos - nature, culture and wellness, and this is reflected in the resort's natural beauty, warm Maldivian hospitality and emphasis on wellbeing.
Whether you prefer to stay on the beach or over the water, Furaveri Maldives has a range of accommodation options to choose from. Those preferring to stay on land can opt for a garden villa, nestled in the tropical greenery just a few steps from the beach, or a beach villa perched directly on the beachfront. Over-water villas meanwhile offer a private sundeck with direct access to the lagoon. For those looking for even more luxury, there are both beach and over-water villas with private pools. Two bedroom residences meanwhile provide spacious accommodation options for families. All villas are comfortable and contemporary but reflect traditional Maldivian heritage in their design - particularly the Dhoni Pool VIllas, which are inspired by the traditional Maldivian fishing boat.
The resort has three restaurants, boasting an exciting range of cuisines including Asian Fusion and Mexican. The main restaurant, Jaafaiy, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers buffet meals featuring a variety of international themes. Stays at Furaveri Maldives can be booked on a range of meal plans from bed and breakfast to premium all inclusive. The premium all inclusive plan allows guests to dine at all restaurants and offers other benefits such as a complimentary excursion per stay and a discount on diving.
Those seeking relaxation can immerse themselves in Furaveri's serene Wellness Village. Focussed on traditional Asian holistic healthcare and based on the concept of a traditional local village, the Wellness VIllage offers an extensive range of facilities in a beautiful rustic setting. Guests can indulge in spa treatments, yoga and fitness classes and Ayurvedic treatments. Those seeking adventure can take part in excursions such as snorkelling with Manta rays, night snorkelling and fishing trips. There is also a range of motorised and non-motorised watersports on offer, including catamaran sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding. Divers are also well catered for, with a range of dives and courses available for divers of all abilities.

I really liked the atmosphere when visiting Furaveri Maldives. It is a very friendly resort offering excellent service and facilities, and families in particular are very well catered for. I particularly enjoyed exploring the beach and house reef at Furaveri - the snorkelling was fantastic and I saw plenty of colourful marine life.
