Silhouette Island is the third largest granite island in the Seychelles and is located 20km northwest of Mahé. It is home to the 5 star Hilton Seychelles Labriz resort, the only hotel on the island, and is easily reachable by boat from Mahé. Despite its size, Silhoutte Island has a very small population, most of whom live in the village of La Passe. With the majority of the island uninhabited and largely untouched, it is a nature lover’s paradise.
Due to the corals surrounding it, the island is a designated marine national park with spectacular marine life to be found just offshore. Heading inland from the white sandy beaches, the stunning mountainous scenery invites walkers and hikers to experience the natural beauty of the island. The highest peak on the island is Mount Dauban, which soars around 740 above sea level and overlooks the lush rainforests below.
