Bequia Plantation Hotel is a boutique property in a superb beachfront location with views across Admiralty Bay on the west coast of the island. Occupying spacious grounds filled with palm trees and fruit trees including mango, guava, breadfruit and banana, the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Port Elizabeth, the charming capital of Bequia.
Accommodation at the hotel is split between the original plantation house and gingerbread-style cottages in the grounds. The stylish rooms in the main house offer views over the gardens or out to sea, all with tiled floors and contemporary yet elegant furnishings. The remaining rooms, suites and villas occupy spacious detached and semi-detached cottages spread out across the grounds, all individually decorated with brightly coloured rugs and cushions. Some room types have small kitchenettes for added convenience and furnished verandahs which are perfect for a sundowner facing the sunset.
Dining is at Bequia Plantation Hotel’s beachfront restaurant, where a combination of typical Caribbean and international cuisine is served al fresco at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pizzas are made to order in a traditional brick oven, while freshly baked breads and pastries are available on a daily basis.
A swimming pool lies between the restaurant and the cottages, with comfortable sun loungers on a terrace beneath the swaying palm trees. There is a small beach in front of the hotel where guests can relax or enjoy activities such as snorkelling, kayaking or stand up paddle boarding. From here, guests can easily wander along to Port Elizabeth in one direction or towards the stunning Princess Margaret Beach in the other. Numerous restaurants and beach bars are within walking distance including Jack’s Beach Bar, owned by the Bequia Beach Hotel.
Guests wishing to venture further afield can visit places of interest on Bequia such as a turtle sanctuary and historic plantations, while other excursions include yacht charters, scuba diving and snorkelling trips.

Bequia Plantation enjoys a fantastic location just behind the boardwalk between Port Elizabeth and Princess Margaret Beach. It feels very spacious and open, and is the ideal place for guests who are keen to get out and about and explore all that the island has to offer.
Children: Children are welcome. Cots and foldaway beds are provided free of charge for children under 5 years old.
Airport: Bequia Plantation Hotel is under 15 minutes from Bequia Airport by car, reached via a flight from Barbados or St Lucia. Complimentary transfers are available from the ferry port or airport for stays of 7 nights and over.
Location: The hotel is located on the waterfront at the southern end of Admiralty Bay, just a short walk from the centre of Port Elizabeth, the small capital of Bequia.
Facilities: Restaurant, bar, swimming pool, watersports including kayaking and stand up paddle boarding.
Excursions: Guests can easily visit places of interest on Bequia such as the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary, Hamilton Fort and Mount Pleasant. Hiking trips, sailing trips to visit the Tobago Cays for diving and snorkelling with turtles followed by a lobster barbeque on the beach, day charters and guided island tours are all available.

Garden View Room: Located in the main house, these comfortable rooms overlook the gardens.
Sea View Room: Located in the main house, these stylish rooms have a four poster queen-sized bed, modern bathroom and glass panelled doors leading out onto a private balcony offering views of the sea.
Orchard Suite: Located within the grounds with unobstructed views towards the sea, these spacious suites have a king or queen sized bedroom, a small kitchenette with fridge and microwave, a modern bathroom and furnished verandah.
Beach Suite: Located just back from the beach with views towards the sea, these rooms have a king sized bed, modern bathroom and covered verandah.
One Bedroom Beach Front Villa: Located within the grounds with unobstructed views across the gardens towards the sea, these villas are open plan and include a small kitchenette with fridge and microwave. There is also a king sized bed, walk in closet, modern bathroom, comfortable seating and a furnished verandah.
Two Bedroom Garden View Villa: Located within the grounds with views over the gardens, these villas have two bedrooms and a small kitchenette with fridge and microwave. There is a king or queen sized bed in the main room, plus a twin bedroom, modern bathroom, comfortable seating area and furnished verandah.
