Langley Resort Fort Royal is located on a scenic stretch of beach on Basse Terre, just outside the charming town of Deshaies. The resort offers guests an excellent range of facilities, whilst also being in an ideal location for getting out and exploring the extensive natural beauty that entices so many visitors to Guadeloupe.
Rooms at Langley Resort Fort Royal are bright and spacious with warm and homely decor. Accommodation is comprised of 133 rooms and suites in the main building, most with a sea view, and 82 bungalows offering either garden view, partial sea views or a beachfront location. Larger rooms and suites are perfectly suited to families, with the largest suite accommodating up to six guests. For couples meanwhile, Tropic Breeze would recommend a Beachfront Bungalow, offering intimate accommodation and a stunning location.
Stays at Langley Resort Fort Royal can be either on a bed and breakfast, half board or full board basis. The resort's main restaurant blends international favourites with Creole flavours and serves buffet breakfasts and a la carte lunches, whilst dinner is either a buffet or a la carte. Kawann Beach Bar has a laid-back atmosphere and offers an extensive cocktail menu as well as pizzas and light bites.
Langley Resort Fort Royal is surrounded by rainforest and mountains and the resort offers a range of excursions including volcano trekking and guided hikes. They can also assist with arranging car hire for those who prefer to explore the island more independently. Activities at the resort include tennis and beach volleyball, as well as watersports such as sailing, windsurfing and paddle boarding. For younger guests, there is a kids club, open seasonally, a children's pool and a games room.

Children: Children are welcome at Fort Royal. A kids club runs between the months of November to March, and there is a separate kids pool and games room. Cribs are also available upon request.
Location: Langley Resort Fort Royal is located to the north of Basse Terre, on the west side of Guadeloupe, and a 60 minute drive from Pointe-á-Pitre International Airport.
Facilities: WiFi in common areas, swimming pool and spa, library, car rental, laundry service, souvenir shop, Sail and Surf club, tennis, beach volley and running/walking tracks.
Dining: The main restaurant at Langley Resort Fort Royal serves international cuisine with local influences for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Kawann Beach Bar serves a wide range of drinks and smaller meals and snacks between 11am-11pm.
Accommodation: Langley Resort Fort Royal offers a combination of Bungalows set within the resort's gardens and hotel rooms with views of the ocean. Whichever you choose all rooms are bright and spacious and room amenities include air conditioning, complimentary toiletries, hair dryers, TV, telephone, mini fridge, and in-room safe.

Partial Seaview Bungalow: As above but located a little further down the hillside with a mixture of garden and partial sea views. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults. 20 sqm.

Seaview Room with Balcony: Located within the hotel's main building these rooms feature contemporary decor, a king bed, modern bathroom with shower and furnished balcony with sea views. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults. 22-30 sqm.
Seaview Suite with Terrace: Also located within the hotel's main building these suites are perfect for families and offer a king bed and sofa bed, modern bathroom with shower and furnished balcony with sea views. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults and 2 children. 70-78 sqm.
